Case Study
John Boyle and Company (JBC) was a 100+ year old material weaving company. They started business in the mid 1800's making canvas material for sailing ships and wagons. Later with patents for weaving and coloring stripping the material JBC became the largest Awing material manufacture and distributer in the US. While JBC was were innovative and cutting edge in their core business for the past 100+ years they were a years behind in developing a web storefront.
When we met John Boyle and Company they had over 10,000 products and just as many customers. As a very old wholesale manufactor they also had 6 different pricing tiers. Over the past 20 years JBC had developed an inhouse order fulfillment and tracking system to keep up with their $200 Million volumn based on the IBM AS400 technology.

Within the allowed time we developed an Electronic Customer Service Center that took into account every customer's pricing level on all 10,000 products. We also added features link Last Order Recall, Quick Order Templates, and Frequently Ordered Products. All of these features took into account inventory based in the 5 distrubution wharehouse and packaged the most economical solutions for JBC.
During the testing phase our custom developed web storefront handeled several Million dollars in orders without a single show-stopping bugs. When our system went live it was so productive it allowed JBC to sail though their high seasonal sales cycle without having to hire the in-house seasonal Customer Service Reps.
With the more profitable bottom-line JBC was successful in finding a buyer of the company. Unfortunately for us the new owner already had their own web storefront.
